Copy and Paste

I use adobe audition i would like to know do anyone know how to copy and paste a chorus/Hook EXACTLY where you want to put it. Because everytime i try to copy and paste i could never get the hook where i want. It be off .1 or 2 decimals. So if anyone can tell me how to fix that i will appreciate it.

Dunno exactly what you're trying to do, but if you Lock the track after you copy it, it won't move a hair.

Alright say i do a chorus/hook on track 1, then on track 2 i do a verse. Now on track 3 where the chorus/hook suppose to come in at, it wont let me put it in that exact spot, it be off just by .1 or .2 decimals.

Try zooming in so that you can make finer adjustments. Click on the "zoom in horizontally" button and use the arrow keys to move the cursor back and forth to exactly where you want it.

Do you have any of the "Snap To" buttons on the toolbar punched in?

just record all the hooks in one recording and do it the exact same way when you sing it the second time
