Cool Edit Pro Settings...I have Vst's and everything

ok..so ive had cool edit for a while.. i have a samun co1u and i have a mic called at 2020 ..i like both..ive looked at cool edit pro settings for about a year to get great quality in my music. my music has gotten better, but not quiet there.i know about eqs and panning and everything.i have cool edit and adobe. I want quality like m.i.h. or d pryde before he got sighed..they all use the same mic i have..I want good studio quality vocals.anybody have any settings n can help out? i have the waves plugin and mic modulator also.. n ya a good hiss setting..
