I just picked up the Fishman Pro-EQ Platinum and thought I would share. It has built in phase control, EQ, notch filter, phantom power controllable which eliminates the need for a battery. Split send so you can run your main signal to the house but take a seperate feed for a tuner or monitor. You can either control the signal yourself for volume and EQ or send it to the FOH engineer. XLR out. Just a cool little box for $160. Also a built in compressor for smoothing things out.
I use it on my acoustic for the preamp but it can be used on electric too. Great little active DI. It also has a ground lift to eliminate noise and I can attest that it is very clean sounding.
