Converting Stereo to Mono

Hey all. My friend made the mistake of recording in stereo with his M-Audio 410, and you can only hear it on the left speaker. I told him to record in mono, but I guess he didn't listen. x]

Is there a way to get the sound on both speakers without redoing the whole song? Possibly with just the mp3?

I have Garageband, Logic, Cool Edit Pro, and Adobe Audition 3. Help would be appreciated, thanks in advance. :)
 
You shouldn't be using the MP3 format... Very, very, bad idea.

Otherwise - Just export those individual tracks as mono and put them back in.
 
I was just generalizing, I'm not sure what format my friend saved it in. Either way, it's going on MySpace so the quality is going down. :\ What format do you recommend though?

And thanks, I'll tell him to do that.
 
Record in wav, you can convert to mp3 any time but mp3 to wav don't work well.
