Controller view in cake 9?

Hi.

When I highlight a track and go into the piano roll view, I can see the controller view on bottom. Let's say I want to delete all the volume controllers with the eraser. When I do, I then go into the event list, and there are still a bunch of volume controllers in there. To delete all them, it is tedius as hell. Whay can't I use the controller view to delete controller events, no matter where they are? Is there a way to do this? I would rather delete my controllers in the piano roll controller view, and then have them gone from everywhere, the event list, and everything. What's the difference between an event list controller and a controller view controller?

Thanks for any help.

You can always use the Controller View... ;)

That doesn't help. The files are general midi files off the net. I am stunned that you would have to go through possible hundreds of controllers in the even view, just to delete certain ones. It won't let you turn off from view only certain controllers. This is silly, and I can't believe they would not give you an option to delete the event list controllers the same way that you do controllers in the controller view.

Can no one help?

You can turn off the view of normal notes, and just leave the controller data you want to delete behind. :)

You can turn off notes, but that helps very little. You can't turn off certain kinds of controllers and only see the ones that you want to delete. That means you have to scroll through possibly hundreds of effects and pan controllers just to delete the certain controllers you want to delete. I can't believe they would not give you access to these controllers in the controller view. In there, you can choose individual controllers to erase, and that option should be in the event view, or you should be able to erase controllers from the entirety of the project from the controller view.

I take it that no one hear knows if this is possible?

Have they fixed this in Sonar 3?
