Doe any one have a good link or copy of a simple contract for consignment? I approached a few stores that have agreed to sell my cd, but since they are not "music stores" they don't have a consignment contract. They asked if I would supply them with one.

I know there are some decent "freebies" around here somewhere, but have not had any luck locating them with google searches

Any help?

Please!!!!

contracts are really simple man. just write something out, print two copies, and have them and yourself sign it and date it, and each keep one. if you can't find something, of course.

i feel u -- i keep findin mess with ":consignor" and "consignee" and it is so technical!!!

here is what i have so far -- any major "forgot-about-thats" . . . please let me know thanks

I would consider adding two other line items.

1. A time frame for when the vendor will submit payment - ie: payment will be submitted within 5 business days of the "account" date.

2. An escape clause (in case the vendor is not doing anything to sell your produc ie: This agreement can be terminated by either party by 30 day written notice

it is now revised a bit (thanks for the feedback)

If you "really" wanted the easy way around, get another music store who has the consignment papers and then take it and rewrite it as you see fit. I might have this form somewhere if you still need it. The form I have came from a form package that I have for music, not from a music store like I said earlier. I just had a friend who went to sam goody and did that.

yeah i would love it if u had it and could send it to me . . . i had one once before and can not locate it. i had one from TOWER RECORDS and have not been able to get back over to their locations (they are quite aways from where i live/work everyday!!!)
