Sry didn't know where I should post it.
I just got from a friend a Yamaha MG10/2, and a Juli @ esi soundcard.
I just have no idea how to connect the console to the soundcard, which cables to use.
thank you, Noobie XD

First off go to: http://www2.yamaha.co.jp/manual/pdf/pa/english/mixers/MG10_2E.pdf
and download the manual for the mixer.
Next Google for the Juli@ site and do the same there. The soundcard is not very common but has a good rep'. Yamaha never made a bad bit of 'tronics EVER IMHO!

Cables: You will need two stereo RCA (phono) to RCA leads. Don't cramp yourself on length but I would not exceed 3 mtr unless absolutely necessary. If the Juli card is setup for RCA you are cool but if setup for jacks and you are not confident in swopping it back buy 4 RCA to jack adaptors. (I always get the Gold ones. Cool and blingy IMO!)

Now, RCA "rec" out of mixer goes to input of card and RCA "CD/TAPE" input goes to output of card.

Assuming the card is installed correctly, driver and suchwhich, you are ready to rock n roll, assuming that is you have a mic to warble at and a headphones to harken unto!

Dave. Err! You also need some recording software! Google for Audacity.

Read all the sticky threads at the top of this section of the forum about computer recording before buying anthing other than the advised cables/connectors!
