I have a 4 track and made a tape. Then I burned it onto a CD. Now how can i edit it on my computer?
Another question is how to get rid of the distortion buzz?

mm, quite confusion.

First, what kind of 4 track do you have? Analog or digital?

First you have to decide if you want to edit every track separete or not. If so, try to import them in a multitrack program, like CEP for example. This depends of your machine though: can they export digital audio, or do they have several outputs you can use to send them analog?

If you just want to edit the final master you can use a wav editor like CEP, soundforge, Wavelab..

But what I think is your 'mistake': you propably burned an AUDIO Cd, while you should have burnt an audio data Cd,! You can only edit a Wav file, not a cda file. If you burnt an audio cd you have to convert them to wav, and that is not the ideal solution.

hoped this helped

I have an analog, so i have to hook it up to a cd burner (thats not attached to a computer).
If i burn a data cd will i have to burn each track on a differnet cd track?
