My band hasn't been to richmond for a while. We're from Charlottesville. Let me know if you need someone else its pretty straight up rock, Can also do an acoustic thing over there.

Yea, I hear that. Im manageing 2 bands, playing in a band, and doing recording/label stuff for 5 other bands, while also setting up tours and advertising. It NEVER ends.. lol but I guess thats why I do it, cuz it never gets boring.

Depends, where do you want to set stuff up?I gernerllay do North East, also, Id have to look into genre type for some of the venues. I mainly do rock/industrial/metal shows, but I can see who can do other genres.

It also depends on how many bands Im booking for the tour, the more bands I have to get in on the same night, the more difficult it is. Would they be responsible for setting up their own hotels/transportation etc.?

Do u have AIM? I'll send you a PM so we can talk alittle more about this

actually, depending on the size thats not too bad. i mean, if its a 1500-2000+ capacity, Depending on venue limitations, and how well that area sells for certain types of music.

How big of a place are you looking for?

well not to sound "cheap" but i am trying to find the leas expensive place. i found one spot for 160 and another for 300 but neither place can accommodate the exact audience i want . . . so far. the place for 160 wants strictly adults - which is going to kick into my marketing scheme and profits . . . the 300 place will let anyone come in, but dont want alcohol sold - which eliminates the adult audience market . . .

Go with the first one. Kids all got fake ID's anyways. Easier to get them in than get a bunch of adults to enjoy themselves without booze imho

unfortunatly as a promoter, you can be held responsible for underage drinking at your event... kinda sucks....

its a terrible dilemma - so im still hittin the phone book callin other places to see if something will open up for me - i wish the schools werent so damm uppity!!!
