...Tax time and I gotta pay the piper :( ...so, up for grabs is my:

1. Joe Meek 3Q Preamp ~ Great little mic/line pre with very useable EQ and Compressor...got that Burr-Brown "smoothness" going on...this item is "like new" with very little hours...complete with original packaging and literature...minto!

2. Rode NT1000 Large Condenser Microphone ~ also in "like new" condition, this killa cardioid mic is "baby brother" to the NTK...shares similar sonic signature with the NTK, but you don't need to wait for this one to "warm up"...big, built like a tank and great sounding on both vocals and instrument miking...comes complete with storage pouch, original box and mount...minto again!

...together these 2 components create a very high-quality recording chain (mic/mic&line-preamp/eq/compressor) capable of pro-quality tracking...
...just $299. including insured FEDEX anywhere in the continental USA ($500 new)...I'm on the "Good-Guys" list for a few sales already, so you can trust that my descriptions are accurate...pics will be posted shortly...any questions, email me at: kidvybes@hotmail.com

one more thing...

...oh yeah...like (it's big brother) the NTK, the NT1000 is excellent for Hiphop/Rap vocals, especially when channeled thru the Joe Meek 3Q's compression...this setup works well on guitar cab miking as well...the NT1000 is really quiet (low noise)...even when cranked up...just a few afterthoughts...thanks for looking!

...the mic comes with the "hard" mount which was included in the original retail package...the Rode SM2 Shockmount is optional...it can be purchased online for about $45-50...keep in mind that the NT1000 goes for around $299. (street price) and the Joe Meek 3Q goes for $199. (street price) new...both are in "mint" condition...

...the optional SM2 (much nicer than the standard "Chinese" type shockmount) looks like:

Bump for good mic.

I prefer NT1000 over the NTK actually because it doesn't have that extra power supply mess.

I would love to try out the Joe Meek and how it compares to the DMP3. However, I'm trying to save up money for a Neumann mic.

If you ever drop the price to $250 shipped, then drop me a line. I might just give in and snatch this combo.
