Damn! I totally recommend Travellers Express MoneyGram money orders. I submitted my request for refund on January 13th, and got a check YESTERDAY!
This means that we're back on track. Last night I burned the second release candidate CD set and am playing with it here at work. Found some minor issues that can be resolved without causing any delays. So far so good!
Last night I also got the contact info for this new guy that Ed found to do the duplication, and I'll be firming up specifics with him. Ed says that he has the same machine that the last guy had, and since I haven't changed the CD graphics, it *should* be a no-brainer.
I will be compiling a list of people I received money from, and I'll post it here soon. Please check the forum if you sent money. If you sent money and you don't see your name, then you'll have to contact me. I kept all the envelopes that everybody sent, and I even scanned most of the money orders, so if I simply forgot to enter one into the 'puter it'll turn up. Otherwise, I hope you kept your receipt.
At any rate, once I get the CD's back from the duper guy, I will be stuffing them. At this time, when I have a finished product to ship, I will be accepting more orders. We are printing a minimum of 50 sets, and 21 are reserved for contributors, and about 10 have been bought by other folks. That only leaves 20 sets of this first run. If there is extreme demand, we can make another run, but I won't guarantee it. Personally I would like to see the remaining sets go to long term members of the BBS, so I will NOT BE ADVERTISING the CD outside of this forum. The remaining sets will be sold on a first come first serve basis.
Contributors, I am holding CD's for you. You will not be sent a CD if you did not send money, however.
If demand is light, then I will simply be sending remaining funds from the project directly to Dragon to support the BBS. If demand is heavy, funds *might* be used to make a second run.
Oh yeah, and please note that I did not receive enough funds to cover my own expenses. I am not worried about getting enough orders to fill in the gaps, but it may mean that some CD's don't get shipped until I get some money in, which could cause a delays for some people. Unfortunately I have to say that I will ship domestic orders first, since I can fill more of them than I can international. I'm not sure if this will be the case, but it is a possibility, and I feel you should be warned. It's really my last substantial worry at this point, other than people hating this thing
