So what do you all clean the symbols and drums with? Any do's and don'ts?

do you wan to spend money? cymbals can be cleaned with furniture polish (its not gret but it makes them shiny 
otherwise buy the poish made by the manufactureer of your cymbal as this might even restore some of the varnish/lauquer.
drums - wel how do you mean? as in getting dust off. my drums have never been 'dirty; only dusty
