I had a guitar riff stuck in my head and so I wrote this tune to get it out of my head.
Didn't work, I still hear the riff.

It's a guitar instrumental and it's a short tune, weighing in at 2:45
This is the first mix, let me know how the mix sounds so far, sounds bottom heavy to me.
Ignore the sloppy guitar notes here and there.

Ok, here's mix #2 and the tune has been renamed to Ten Ton Chicken as per a forum member on another forum.

I dropped the Bass level
Eq'd the Kick drum
Drop the drum levels a bit.

See if this any better

Ten Ton Chicken

Cool song. Good playing. Yeah the whole mix sounds sort of muddy and bottom-heavy. Shouldn't be hard to fix though. Maybe play with the 'drums' more too to get them more real sounding. But a really cool song overall. Has sort of a Satriani feel to it. Good job. :)

My thoughts exactly - love the reverb/effects on the guitars.
Playing is great too. That guitar rig sounds sweet....

:D :) :D
