I usurped some old lyrics for this jam.
Any thoughts on the mix - yay, nay?

Fun tune! I loved it. Not exactly the same thing, but I do get a slight Primus vibe as well…and I’m a huge Primus fan.

My only suggestion is regarding the vocals. The big micro pitch sound is super cool, but I’d use it for only certain sections maybe giving it a feel that you’re back to the chorus part of the song when you hear it. For the other parts run a drier vocal, maybe with a little saturation. Then it would divide the song into more obvious sections and would add some real contrast so parts sound bigger.

Just my thought. Again, super fun tune! I was smiling the whole time.

I love the idea of using old lyrics; it can give a fresh vibe to a new track. About the mix, switching the reverb for a delay could definitely add some nice texture. Sometimes a little tweak can make a big difference in how vocals sit in a track. I’ve been in the same boat with vocals—trying to find the right balance between reverb and delay can feel like a guessing game.

Speaking of experimenting, I had a music-themed project where I used stealthex. io to swap some crypto for gear. It was super simple and gave me a boost for my setup. It's a great platform to start with. Begin with a demo account before risking real money, learn basic technical analysis like support and resistance levels and candlestick patterns, and never invest more than you can afford to lose. Crypto is highly volatile so patience and discipline are key.
