Check this beat..."SPOOK"...its HOT

I think it sounds good, but the melody reminds me of "theres a place in france, where the ladies wear no pants"
 
Nice

"Spook": really like it, great tune, top production, just screaming for a raging male rapper to finish it off.

Only two suggestions:

1. Layer the snare with something else, it sounds a touch (just a touch) general midi at the moment.

2. End the track at 4:30, its the natural ending, dont reprise the core elements after that or IMHO you are entering repetitive land.

P.s.

Just listened to it on my cans: I think you've got some clipping in there, might need to run it through a maximising limiter like Waves L2, unless you specifically want that "clipped" sound - not my bag tho ;)
 
thx yall for the positive feedback.....yeah like i said, new to the game & don't know shit about getting rid of shitty sound quality and even what general midi means even heheh....but def appreciate the input .....ima learn reason, just got my hands on it an' tryin to get a handle on the shit...i'll probably reproduce this beat on there to up the sound
