I kinda like it, and its rough hewn sound. Fuzzy wuzzy was a bear...
There are timing issues though, but I dont care about that. Its kind of a classic college fuzz rock slightly experimental kinda thing. S'alright.

Now about "The Legend"..... ummm...

There ought to be a "is your recording worse then the Legend Garcia" contest.

I know I've got a couple of drug induced pieces of corn speckled shit that could go up for nomination :D ..from times past(not that I'm proud of it), I'd gladly post for laughs' sake.


and on another note: I don't know if anyone around here has heard of the reclusive Texas musician known as JANDEK. His shit is about as bad as "The Legend"....some of you might even say worse. Although he is pretty much unknown except to a small number of odd-ball record collectors and die-hard fans, His carreer of atonal, un-polished and frenzied dischord has gone on for 20+ years, recently being surfaced with a documentary that got national attention, screening at art museums and such. So not to fall too off topic:

This "Jandek" made a considerable carreer out of his,"trash, pooh, and vomit",
not by raving egotistical on the internet (Jesse, listen closely), but by quietly sending out his un-produced L.P.s to record stores and college radio stations, and thus gaining the fandom of random people by freaking them out with "bad music" The "this is so bad it's good" syndrome, if you will.


That may be some advice(or emty hope) for "The MAN, the LEGEND," Jesse Garcia, if he ever comes back here to take a peek at his online "legacy," that is..........

i listened to one of the tunes and the recording didnt sound too bad

kinda stripped down and the vocal is kind of bowie-ish in a way

a little too dramatic tho and that is what makes it awful i guess

the drums sounded pretty good to me

To which tune are you referring? JMG's stuff or something one of us posted?
 
yeah one of the legend's tunes. jessy michelle. i finally got around to reading some of this monster thread and its amazing how some of these clowns attack everybody who doesnt like their crap.

do you think the legend and asslad are related?

all of the legend's links are still good and its been a couple years so its not surprising if his stuff sounds decent. i mean just the sound of the recording and not barf-reflex i got from the vocal.

LMAO! I started reading the thread and never once even listened to his music... I didn't dare to after some of the responses he got. Maybe I will, after all, it can't be much worse than asslad the ego....
