Holy crap dude! I'm trying to figure out what is up your butt!. My 1st post, I offered to record you for free - you played like I was being sarcastic.
My second post was simpley a word to the wise. There are people who lurk on this site who are in the logistics industry and may or may not have influence over your day job of managing the distribution for a catalogue company. But you want to call me out and throw down?! Yikes! Get a grip! The macho BS is over the top. BTW, Mr.Garcia, I will be at the SLUG gig next month. I look forward to hearing if your live performace is better than the recordings.
 
Seeker- Thank you for your kind words; they mean more to me than you can know. Yes; this old, yet newly unveiled, part of my musical voice is not often heard or appreciated. I would love to do some soundtrack work for film, and just very may well do so someday if the opportunity presents itself. Like I said in the beginging ... The ride has just begun ...

dcwave- I had forgotten that you were the one that was local and had offered to record me. I must SINCERELY apologize for the tone of my remarks. As you may be aware or have guessed, I have developed some potentially very unhealthy relationships during the course of my little adventure. I neither recalled your gracious offer or realized that you were local when I had replied to you. I have so many people coming at me, that it is sometimes hard to sort them out. My mistake; I assure you that it will not happen again ... I have unfortunately increased the chance of a physical encounter at a live show tremendously through my words and actions. I will no doubt some day be in the very type of situation that I alluded to earleir; a fight that may end up bringing the unexpected; this is where my remarks came from. Once again, I was wrong and I apologize to you.
In reference to your offer to do a project together ... I would love to do some sort of collaboration. I consider all offers and musical ventures very seriously, and if or when time permits, I would feel honored to do something with you. I have as you can imagine been the victim of every type of potential scam, angle, or ruse imaginable, so I am to say the least VERY sceptical of a free service such as recording that is not just a professional and financial endeavor, but an emotional and spiritual one as well. Coming to the SLUG show would be a very good idea, ... yes, ... come and introduce yourself; I look forward to meeting you. Randy Harward of the City Weekly should be there to hopefully review the show also, as well as some more interesting people if I have my way ...

way to go man.. i listened to the other tracks you had on here a while back and dismissed them as "not my type of music"

but the caravan song is pretty happenin. i'm a sucker for the .. foreign? sounding stuff.. and i think you pulled it off nicely.

i have no comment on the mix though, sadly my ears are either burned out from the nonstop recording/mixing i've been doing lately .. or maybe they were never any good. :p

If I had approached this endeavor leading off with my feelings and intentions, I would have no doubt been dismissed as a "crackpot" through some of the very descriptions that you have so eloquently described, and detailed. Please do not confuse my ability to become verbally acidic in my responses and descriptions to personal attack, with my intentions involving the needs of our planet's children. Why do you think that I did not present myself in this way in the begining? Really, ... it is telling that little to no attention is given to even the best of material, (just take a look around ...); yet throw in a little "character" as it were, and the results speak for themselves. If you were to accept for a moment that the notion of what I am saying about myself is true, then what better way would there be to achieve results than the path that I have chosen? I thought long and hard about my course of action, and I came to the conclusion that once again, there was only one real question at hand. Do I wish to achieve results or not?
I have defended myself in a comical and somewhat seemingly egotistical manner no doubt. I am human, (for now anyway), and I most definately do not like to be fucked with. I have said my music, sound quality, and/or musical skills are not above reproach or critisism. Just because I question the validity of some people's opinions, and then harshly point out their inconsistencies, doesn't mean that I consider all others inferior. Quite the contrary actually. I mean honestly ... If I was the egotistical maniac that you may think that I am, then why would have I stuck around for all this "fun" that at times has been at my expense? And why would I have been so descriptive in my respect and need for opinions concerning the technical abilities of those that I have so publically acknowledged? What of my own descriptions of my own sound quality?
Do not think just because that I am a man of knowledge, that I am not also a warrior with a hunter's intentions; who is capable of decieving to achieve my goals. I choose my battle's in life very carefully, and I am aware of the price to be paid for such direction and action(s).


I love to fish. Streams. Lakes. You name it ... The best fishermen know what types of baits and lures they need for the conditions that are presented in nature. Life is a lot like fishing ... Sometimes you get lucky; and sometimes you have to take the time to learn what is best for the terrain that you are traversing ...


The truth has been spoken.

One of the song's, "American Made", is very special to me. In WWII, G.I.'s headed to the pacific theater from the northern mid-west and the east coast, took trains through the city of North Platte in Nebraska. This was a stopping point for all trains to refuel. There was a little tavern called "The Canteen" where soldiers stopped for their last taste of freedom and a good drink. My grandfather was one of these soldiers. He was eventually shot in Okinawa and returned home to live a long life. I wrote this song for him ...
