For me it's about 12:10 - 12:15am that it switches. I'm on the west coast.

cool. Better than east coast where it's 3am... I'm in germany, so it's 9AM for me.

Damn that's tempting...

Washburn M1S mandolin for 99.99...

grr

hell yeah man! i NEED a firestudio!

i dunno that looks like a pretty sweet deal on the mandolin, but don't know what i'd do with it. would be something cool just to have in the studio though.

a FireStudio deal with a free Monitor Remote thing would be killer. or a free FaderPort. oh snap!

Man, I could order this for parts, but what would I need with a bass chorus? Another pass. Not a bad discount, though: Arion MCH-2 Bass Chorus pedal 9.99)

I guess yesterday's was so pointless no one will even talk about it... (earplugs for 4.99...)

oh great earplugs followed by a crap bass chorus pedal....coincidence? maybe not.

That keyboard cover I ordered came unbelieveably quick! Like a day and a half

MF is usally very good about shipping fast. They are a pretty smart company, and they know what keeps people happy. Low prices, fast shipping, customer service. I prefer the Customer service at Sweetwater, though. I've actually had them hook stuff up at their lab for me to answer questions they couldn't answer right off the bat... If the price is close, my big tech buys come from sweetwater for that reason. MF is good for competitive prices :).

the ONLY thing musician's friend is good for is competitive pricing and stupid deals...if they mess up an order...it's a fucking fist fight to get it resolved and in a timely manner.

Bahhhh they shouldn't try to sell hard drives at Musician's friend...

yep...

120 gig firewire for 79 bucks....

for a little more you could buy the enclosure and put in a much bigger hd

MSH-1 series mics are on sale at www.naiant.com for all who are interested. They're an incredible deal at full price. I just got a pair of matched MSH-1's and I have been converted; I'll be preaching msh mics from now on...

check it out if you haven't seen it in the clinic (dry stereo take on my new mics):
The mics were a little too far apart (like 3 feet too far apart...) so it sounds a little wierd, but you can get the idea..

Maybe you're lonely and you like a new friend from Sweetwater calling you all the time. :p

But seriously I had to tell my personal sales guy from Sweetwater to never call me again. I was making some decisions on some converters and mic preamps a while back and he told me I was "wasting my time" researching and shopping around when he could just tell me what to get.

My girlfriend heard that and was like "oh no". It's kind of like when you start getting the Incredible Hulk a little mad.

LOL. Yea, when they're selling, they're selling. I was talking about after the purchase, they provide thorough techinical assistance. As far as purchasing is concerned, you have to educate yourself no matter what, and get opinions from disinterested (non profiting) third parties.

I think MF is starting to slack off. No one want's the stupid $80 padded drum case! Including me!

*sigh
