What's the cheapest unit or way or whatever to get phantom power to two NT1s? Cheapest dual unit/single...anyone? And would cheap a phantom power unit cause extra noise or something?

Behringer MX602 mixer: 6 channel with two xlr inserts, eq, aux sends and returns, and phantom power.

$99

I just need a phantom power supply...Rolls has a few models that run about $40-$60...is that the cheapest I will find?

I needed phantom power for my NT-1. As I was running it to my KorgD16 all I needed was the power. The unit I bought in England was £50, so I doubt that you would get below the price you said.

If you were very lucky you might be able to pick one up second hand.

Yep, the Rolls is the cheapest out there. But it is strictly bare bones...If you spend another 40-50 dollars, you can get the ART TUBEMP, which has a single tube in it. This is significantly better than the Rolls because the tube warms up the vocals dramatically. I have both units, and there is no comparison. Also with the ART you have control over input/output gains, phase reversal, and a separate 20DB gain. I suggest you wait & get the extra money together.

Thanks for the convincing advice...you should be a salesman :) I'm gonna look into that. They make a dual version, don't they? but that costs around $200...no thanks!

I got a deal from SamAsh - Presonus Blue Tube Stereo Tube Preamp. It normally costs $149, but cost me $129 (don't know if you can get this price, maybe if you have a long professional relationship with them). Sounds like a deal to me! This is WAY better than ART Tube MP and unlike the MP this one let's you amplify your signal with or without the tube, so I guess it's a hybrid? Try it!
