What is the easiest way to switch different MIDI devices? I saw a foot controller for $40 at musiciansfriend. Will that do what I want, or can I find it smaller and cheaper? Here's what I plan.
My AP2496 only has one MIDI I/O. Currently, my Yamaha DTXpress, my GNX3 footpedal, and now my keyboard all have MIDI capabilities. I am sick of switching cords. I don't plan on using 2 of the devices at the same time. BUT, I could see, in the future, where I may be running a melody off the keyboard while having the drums off the Yamaha drum module. Is this even possible? So, I either need just a straight one-at-a time switch, or a switch that allows a couple of devices at a time. Does this make any sense? It doesn't to me. LOL! None of my devices have a "MIDI THROUGH" in order to daisy-chain.

Thanks for any help.
