Cheap external USB soundcard needed

It's been so long since I've been here, but im looking for an external soundcard with analog in/outs, USB, so I can use it with my laptop.

Im on a pretty tight budget. Any suggestions?

One possiibility would be a Lexicon Omega. Up to 8 ins at once, according to their specs (2- xlr, 4- 1/4", s/pdif), which is why I would give it a hard look. There are just too many times that you need more than 2 input options. Midi ins/outs also. I've played with it a little and it seems to do a respectable job. GC will probably barter one into your hands for $185 or better.
 
I just got a Tascam US-122 in like new condition off Ebay for $51 plus shipping. So far, I'm very happy with it. Just don't expect ultra-low latency with a USB interface.

PS. Strictly speaking, this is an audio/midi interface, not a soundcard. A soundcard is a PC board with an edge connector. ;)
