Cheap Elec. 12 strings

Anyone know of a cheap elec.12 string to record with?Its just for a couple of tracks , I dont want to spend too much..The cheaper the better as long as it will tune ..and not be too noisey..

I've heard good things about Danelectro 12 strings for that price range. I haven't actually played one, however.

yeah i played one for a few minutes and very decent ...but im not a big fan of 12 string elctrics....if i had to play a 12 string it would be an acoustic.......
 
WHOA THERE DANO!!!! :)

I just picked up a NEW Jay Turser Hawk 12 string electric of of eBay for $239.
It is a way better guitar than the Danelectro. I have played both. You can get it in transparent red or black, and it was set up really well.

DanElectro for sure. IMHO, the best bang for your buck answer to a Rickenbacker out there.
 
I've got plenty of high dollar guitars and instruments in general but I don't feel the DanElectro was too much of a roll in the gutter. The saddles are all tuneable and it plays very nicely and has a good tone.

The Dano is good for the price,or you could get a cheap acoustic 12 and put a magnetic soundhole pickup in it.
 
I have seen a couple of elec., 12's from Charvel, the one I played was pretty good considering the price.

I got a Dean Boca 12 string a few months ago. It is really Beautiful, semi-hollow. $300, Maybe cheaper if you search. It stays in tune as well as any other git's I have. Very playable. It's has a very cutting sound, lotsa midrange. And the humbuckers give lota gain, but are real quiet.
