Hi all, trying to record some stuff on a laptop, planning to get the M audio pre USB; this ($150) seems to be the best audio solution with USB Interface under $200, any other suggestions?
And for the main question, many have recommended the Rode NT3 for $150 (http://www.portlandmusiccompany.com/nt3.html), and $170 at mostother places online; but the web is full of really good reviews of the Behringer B1 for only $100. What would you guys recommend for recording guitar (mic the amp), vocals, and occasional sax and grand piano? Any other suggestions? And would a single mic recording set up make good recordings of each instrument individually (as opposed to multiple mics. recording one instrument)?
Much thanks, all, happy holidays

PS: sorry for cross posting, this should be in the mics section, not the computer recording section
