i did an acoustic vocal and guitar session in a chapel,

guitar>> R92 and R84 on shoulder left
vox >>> brauner phantom

didnt add any plugin verbs
i think i still got some compression issues,
i also used the nomad EQP4 on the master buss and SSLcomp lilywhite mixbuss.

Nice job; would be very cool to add a little stand-up bass line to it. I might try compressing the vocals a bit to try and limit the dynamics of the room reverb in the louder vocal parts. But on it's own I think its still nice.

i got room in the guitar ribbon mic......oink, and also in the other ribbon R84,

if i add my highs on the guitar i got more room. after when i tought about it,....what could i expect. still i like the room, its very charming.

that's very cool, the natural reverb works really well. it really is a "charming" room. the song is catchy as hell too. great performance too. good stuff man.

TNX,i met Jeff in antwerp at a place where it sounds great. he was singing there and i tought...damn i need to record that guy. my mic gonna be very happy too.

for the recording i was very surprised , lots of rooms, of all these reverbs. atleast now i dont need plugins lol.

recorded it with RME octamic2, but my amps were too loud...(on the ribbons, wich creates lots of noise.)
then i mixed it with cubase, api compressor plugin/ and ssl eq. my favorite.

but i used the nomad EQP4on the master, just to give it a go, and it did very well,

im about to add anothe song i recorded there the day before. PABLO at the church is the song

check it. i think it sounds great

I like 'the less noise' version better. Voice seems warmer/drier.
