HI!

I am failing to bounce a track to a different tempo then it is originally. when i try to warp it and change the tempo the time i reopen the rendered file in live it will always switch back to it´s original tempo. i also tried ´complex pro´ but i couldn´t find the solution. i just want to render all tracks that range from 120 to 140 bpm to 130 and then be able to open it in different software- all in 130. can someone help? thx in advance!
greets from austria..

When you import the sample, Warp should be enabled by default. Ableton will change to the tempo to that of the sample, then change it to 130. In session view make sure the sample wasnt clipped and the start and end markers are set, export the sample at the same sample and bit rate and call it whatever you want.

The new sample should be native 130bpm.

I use Pro tools and change sample tempos all the time. Theres a feature called elastic audio. If you are using pro tools I can tell you how to do this, let me know.

Good luck!

In the clip view you can adjust the original tempo of the clip. Altering this wil cause the clips tempo the speed up or slow down

If you are in Session view, you can type in the title (look this up in Ableton User guide) BPM### and those clips will play at that speed when launched. I have used this for a remix project I was playing with so that I could control the tempo (I never used it live) I was mixing using harmonization (where you essentially take songs in a key and arrange them by the circle of 5ths). That way when you are bleeding over from one song to another there are no key crashes.

If it is arrangement view, then there is automation you can use to switch the BPM rather easily. Ableton make these kind of action real easy.
