I am interested in making a relatively low amount of copies of my new CD. I understand I will likely have to have my CD's duplicated rather than replicated due to the small volume of CD's I want. I've read that replication is significantly superior in sound quality and dependability though. Any one know anything about this?

replication is the process of melting the plastic and stamping it with a glass master. much more reliable than a cd-r.

Anyone know what the current price standards for CD duplication are?

I saw someplace .59 for CD-R's . . . probably have to but 1000 though. You could just buy a burner and do it yourself. You can buy spools of 50 for about $20 and 200 jewel cases for $40 and never burn faster than 2x
