Hi there,

Does anyone have any recommendations for places that do good value, good quality audio CD duplication and sleeve printing? I'm based in the UK but if it's significantly cheaper in the US (which is usually is) I don't have a problem going for an American firm. I'll be looking at a run of 500, with two colour on body printing, and a 4 page booklet in a full sized jewel case.

TIA!

Take a look at www.musicconnection.com because they have tons of people who advertise in there at very competitive prices.

You're looking at maybe $1000-1200 for what you want.

AKPCEP,
Be careful. Europe has impossed some import restrictions on US exports, some trade war, i won't get into the politics of it all. the thing is even though it may be cheeper to buy them from U.S. sources (most things are) you may be stung with customs taxes which wipe out any saving. So just check into it first, or take a chance and see what happens. You might get away with the odd DVD, but say 1000 CDs are bound to get caught by officials I would bet!

AMSTORE
its a british company and reletively cheap. cost about £2 a CD for 100 CDs and you get free posters printed up for you. They also keep your CD jewel case info. so you can get more copies fast if need be.

Just a query - is that price quoted for 'duplication' or 'replication'?

I understand replication is the way to go because you get less errors, but its more expensive because you have to pay for a glass master to be made first.

Replication = good
Duplication = less good

If you're dealing with a US distributor, you could always send them there.
