Look Ed, just leave it. Why do you need him to prove himself so badly? You aren't the one he is advising, so it really doesn't affect you. The guy asked for advice, Glen gave advice. The guy can try it out, and if it's bad, then he'll see that!

Why don't YOU just "leave it".

Come on Ed, come on Keith! What are you so afraid of? Its your turn now to answer some questions. We're all waiting...

Ed, tell us all, including those who were here for it when it happened, just why you have been banned from this board?

Tell us why, if you are not walters, why you practically bragged about it to me when giving me neg rep in the last walters thread?

Where is your studio now, Ed? The one for which you allegedly have pulled the advertising banners for? And why were they pulled?

You have made a lot of noise lately about having worked at a lot of different studios, having put in some 40,000 hours (!) recording and mixing for clients. Please tell us, what are the names of these studios for which you have worked and where are they located?

Please tell us where youur website is located, and where is the obligatory resume/bio that details your history of 40,000 hours of audio engineering experience?

And we're still waiting for your answers, too Keith.

Why do you have a resume page on one of your websites (the other website has no such kind of page) that has remained blank and collecting dust since it's inception? Don't you have even one single credit to fill in there?

Is the fact that you are using commercial copyrighted material from someone else to show off your "work" the reason why you are hiding that website from us? or is it that the website is just plain bogus overall?

And we're still waiting for an explanation of your equipment list on your other website, Keith. Just how DO you track multi-miked drums and not be what you call "stupid" with the limited number of preamps you have listed? And where did the bran "Pro Tools-like" come from. Trying to sound bigger than you are, Keith, even though you love to bask Pro Tools all over this board? Is that a fancy name for N-Tracks or Audacity?

And why, on your two websites to you publically announce multiple times to the entire world your full name, address, phone number, fax number, and door buzzer location, yet when someone calls you by your first name you get all angry that your anonymity has somehow been comprimised? Are you THAT ashamed of your behavior here?

And what's with your sales campaign to call yourself the Simon Cowell-like "opinionated studio owner" of Moon Unit Labs and AudioForVideo.net in the tag line for a number of online articles and product reviews where you tout yourself as the big-time expert; yet when someone with actual experience and a real resume spanning 28 years in the field trys putting up his own stuff informational material, you crucify him for doing so, and further have the big brass balls to actually accuse him of having too much "attitude"?

Come Ed, Come on Keith. Let's hear some answers for you two for a change, maybe for the next two years, just to even the score?

Prove the rest of this board wrong when we increasingly realize that you two are the very phoneys you try to accuse everybody else of being.

Just leave it man. Just ignore them! Who gives a shit what they say?

Yup, Glen, the guy with no good sounding mp3's of his work. Would rather make a big ol' bitch fest than post a few mp3's

Btw, you are doing exactly what you accused him of. Answer his questions and maybe he'll be more willing...

No, he's trying to divert attention to something else entirely (like, 20 different things simultaneously).

Did you read any of the nonsense he's spouting now?

Something about banner ads? ... and Walters? And drum mics? What the hell is he even trying to get us to fess up to ? :D Quit worrying about an unfinished page on my web site and post a freakin' MP3.

What a weirdo.

You see, you are, to me, a newb here.

I have been asking for YEARS now. Glen just started asking this as a tactic to divert attention away. He only started doing that when other members started supporting my request.

I have no problems answering questions, as they are pertinent to the topic at hand.

I ask for mp3 examples when Glen says stupid things, or when he says things that I believe are beyond his skills (which is always, because I haven't heard anything but ONE crappy sounding production from him).

At the end of the day, it isn't resume's, bio's, and websites that create a good mix. It is intuition, experience, and vision. Glen has proven NONE of this to me, or anybody else. I know countless guys that own studios who can't engineer their way out of a egg crate lined room! :D When we get into technique and opinions, I believe it is important to have an idea of the work the person is capable of doing. A decent amount of my professional work is available via a link in my profile for anybody who cares to go listen. The good, the bad, and the ugly is in there. Some sessions were by excellent bands with good budgets. Some were with horrible bands with shoe string budgets. I include it all as a baseline to the quality of my knowledge in this.

It is not that big of a deal to provide this kind of baseline. Almost every "professional" I know is willing to do so. Except Glen....:(

So, since you are very new to this old request, I give you the benefit of the doubt about not knowing that I have been asking for this for a couple of years now. Glen only ONCE provided an mp3 of his work. It sounded VERY amateur, and he made a bunch of excuses about it. I asked him to post something else then. He made a bunch of excuses about how he cannot share "clients" music without their permission (I have not had even ONE client ever say I could not use an example of their work to promote my service! NEVER HAS ONE SAID NO!!!). So, I just asked for some links to the websites of his "clients". He ignored the request and accused me of harassing him.

So, indeed, if my bio, old website (yes, there IS a way it can still be viewed...for whatever that might be worth...), a list of studios I have done work in, etc....is important to somebody, I will post it here. I certainly have in the past. That has already been proven. There are guys here who are doing clients I have done in the past that can attest to my past experiences. Etc...

But, until Glen posts at least 10 different songs for review, I will pass on any effort to answer his questions. I have been asking for quite some time now, and certainly will not honor a request of his until he honors one of mine.

Sound fair? Of course it does. ;)

He has answered your questions, and has told you he doesn't want to post his mp3s, now he is asking you and Ed questions, and you are just as unwilling to answer, as he is to post mp3s.

I'm a newbie?! I've been here since before you signed up as ford van! I know you have been asking these questions, but to be honest, I've never really paid much attention. I've been to busy trying to learn and advise others. Does it sound fair to leave the guy alone if he doesn't want to post? I believe so.

As i said before, he has offered advice. If it's bad advice and someone tries it for themselves, then they will see that it is bad advice. It doesn't matter, in the slightest, how Glen's recordings sound, just as long as his advice helps others to sound good!

He has answered your questions, and has told you he doesn't want to post his mp3s, now he is asking you and Ed questions, and you are just as unwilling to answer, as he is to post mp3s.

What the hell is this nutjob even asking? Seriously! Do they even qualify responses? Is the world dying to know why I have an unfinished web page sitting out there in cyberspace? Does anyone even care who Walters is? ! Come on. What does Walters, Banner ads, and drum mic'ing have to do with any of this?

Come on. You can't possibly be serious . In fact, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and pretend you didn't even post this.
