Carvin compressor ??

Carvin has come out with an optical compressor/gate this year at a $189 price point. Does anyone have any experience with this unit. I have used Carvin stuff in the past and found it to be very reliable. I wonder how this would stack up to a DBX 166 or the ever popular RNC? Anyone know??
