Booth or no booth if your recording someone else if you don't have one and they want one you may lose the business.

That may be true...but...if you are using a booth as a remedy for not having a decent studio space to begin with...
...call me crazy, but I don't think you're going to have all that much business anyway.

I just don't see how a booth is going to make/break a "business" if the rest of the studio sucks ass.

You can fill in that blank with just about anything. ProTools? Mac? PC? Lavalamp?
I'm not in business. If I was, I'd have properly built rooms to achieve the isolation and acoustics I needed.
