I've been mixing this song and I've got it sounding great in my opinion. There is one funny thing. When there is a vocal scream at 1:47 in the song, the background music dips a bit. Can you tell me what this is and how to fix it? Thanks.

Hi Ryan,
Normally this is due to either compression or limiting.
Do you have a compressor on the mix buss. Or on the track that has the scream on it. If so play around with it.
Sounds like the compressor is pulling it down to me.

When I mute the vocals, the background music does not drop so I assumeI am overcompressing that one vocal scream?
 
Fixed the problem. Just had to hit the compressor harder.
