Can Someone confirm this Rumor?

Hi,

About three weeks ago I heard a rumor claiming that Yorkville was going to produce
a powered version of the YSM-1.....According to the rumor-the speakers (YSM-1P) would be
ready for shipping at the very end of March. I've been to the Yorkville website and don't see
this new product mentioned. Can anyone shed light on this? If they are going to produce a
powered version-I'm definitely going to get a pair.......'Thanks.......................

Thanks for the Yorkville update Bruce......this is great. Looks like the press release came out
late last December....so where's the goods? I want to buy a pair-but whose selling them..I did a web
seaarch and no one is selling them yet. Anybody know where i can buy a pair of the YSM-1p's i'd appreciate it. I need some speakers real bad.
 
I had heard the same rumor (just today as a matter of fact) and was wondering that exact same thing, I tried the webpage and there was nothing. I had asked the guy who I had posted it where he heard about it and where to find out more about them but he hasn't written back yet, so I'm glad that someone was able to shine some light on the subject.

I tried all of the online sites in California as well as some others in different states and
none of them are selling the YSM-1P's. Yorkvilles brick and mortar dealers are not carrying them
either at least the ones in California. I believe that no one has them at this time-.....it would be
nice if they had given a time-line as to when they will be available to purchase. I'll give them a call
in the morning.

Yeah, well i don't want to have to wait that long-i need these speakers yesterday. I'll get them directly from Yorkville if necessary.
 
I emailed yorkville the other day, they said they're past prototyping and should be availble before early summer.

yeah I emailed them too,they said in production this summer.
 
The Waiting Game

I guess its the waiting game.......lets see-early summer-would this be late May? Most of the time that a company gives you a date like this you can expect that the real date is probably two months later.
 
Im pretty sure they still arent out yet....Im wishing that im wrong though....I think Im gonna take the plunge....But Im definitely waiting until a few good ears hear these and tell me they rock like the original YSM-1's.........
 
Yeah, i just came from there website and they now obviously have a lot more information about the monitors that they did not have before-so there is something happening. My only question is-are they $320 a pair or is the price for just one? There is absolutely no question that i'll take the plunge for $320 a pair. That is a sweet deal.
 
I was told by yorkville only a day ago that they are not in full production yet!!
If someone gets them let us know:)
 
I ASSUMED that was 320/pair....there is no way they'll get 320 a piece for those.....
please, please, please be 320/pair....
 
It turns out they'll be in stores around Late May or early June.
 
Well that's not bad, It'll give me some time to get the $$$ saved up (and still be one of the first ones to get them :D)
