Can ProjectMix IO be used as a soundcard?

I was using my old 1010lt as my main sound card as well, but sold it for the Projectmix. I was wondering if there would be anyway to run this as my main soundcard, so all my music could play through my monitors and headphones.
 
yes...the project mix is an expanded Firewire1814 with a control surface. People get confused about the "soundcard" issue I think because of how it connects to the computer, firewire as opposed to actually cracking open your PC and installing a "card". It'll do everything you want it to do.
