callenge! -> mobile soundsystem

Maybe it's not the perfect place to ask this but maybe there's someone who's been in the same situation.
I need to build a mobile soundssystem wich musicians kan move along WHILE their playing. I can't use a generator because it's too noisy. I have to get about 1000W from it to have enough "headroom". And it should work for at least 4 hours. I don't know how I'll have to do it. Every suggestion would be great. Thanx!!

A mobile nuclear reactor?
Sunpanels?
A truckload of batteries?
 
Ed's system was a mobile recording system in a van not a mobile PA system that is hand pushed. He was probably just plugging into the local power at the gigs.
