I am just getting started. I've purchased a two channel USB audio interface. I've got stands
and all the accessories that I need. What I am intending to do is to get started in voice work and then transition into some acoustic singer-songwriter type stuff with just an acoustic guitar and my voice. so my question is would I be better off starting out with just A CAD M179. or an m177 and an additional mic so i can better record my guitar? the real focus for me at this point is the voice work with some dabbling in the music. it seems to me that the obvious answer is that long term the M 179 will be much more versatile for me, but in the short term would I be better off with the 2 mic setup?
