CAD GXL3000 Multi pattern mic

I’m looking at getting a multi pattern mic. Anyone have any experience with the Cad GXL 3000.

Agreed. Considering the price point and the pure spec (the 3000 has a significantly higher self-noise, no variable patterns, less extended bass response) I'm not running out to get a 3000, even though I'm a long time CAD fan. The M179 is a sure thing. The 3000 isn't right now. I think that's worth the 30 bucks difference.
