Cable to connect mixer2soundcard

Hello folks,

I'm about to get some instrument cables to hook up the mixer to the Echo Layla's ins, and was just wondering if I should get speaker cable or guitar cable?

Definately NOT speaker cable. Either instrument (unbalanced) type or balanced.

Where can I find balanced 1/4 cable>?

Any music store will have them (Guitar Center or the like).
