C1 vs. Neumann U87 WITH audio clips!!

Tubedude,

I would not read in to those audio clips much. Sure you may be able to tell some things, but the C1 clip is a bit short.

In addition, it does not tell you how it was recorded, and it should go into other tracks like vocals, but it does not.

I mean, its ok, but for a quick reference, but you really need to do a side by side yourself if you wish to even compare it.

Like I said before, I make no comparisons, but a lot of others have, and some think one way, and others think another. The bottom line is the mic is solidly built and sounds great.

I have no intention of responding to you, but you have my address if you ever want to stop in for a friendly chat.

Alright.

This is getting out of hand. C7sus, you've said what you wanted on here and to me. Please don't mention this anymore and go straight to Dragon. He'll take the proper action. But my opinion is NO SPAM is going-on by Alan and you're the one causing problems and tensions; and won't let up.

Alan, I know it can get annoying, but please, not even light-threats; if that was one.

:D Westin, OMG

Thank you for handling this for me as well as the group. It has been akward at best.

I assure you, no threat was intended.

BTW, I am working on a deal for your console in Nashville. It is a bit early to know if it will pan out, but the feelers are there. I hope all is well with you and you are making new music, despite the setbacks. I had no idea you were on this group, much less a mod.

Thanks again.

When do I get the new CD? :)

This place sucks, I thought joining this forum would be cool, but all you people do is argue about things. Theres no information, and the info I have been able to get has been very biased.

Don't go yet,

Telefunken,

You came by when the house is a wreck. It'll get cleaned up in a few days. This is a good place to hang, please be patient while we clean up the mess and everybody calms down.

We like a more convoluted approach to marketing...

Pimp your Chinese crap on some other site, jackoff.

If we didn't allow "Chinese crap" there would be very few mikes to talk about, including many of the "famous name" mikes that cleverly obscure the fact that many, if not most of their components come from China.

I would be willing to be that your own mikes are not made in the USA. What brand are they ?
I bought a CAD, partially because I thought, with all else equal, I would support the USA......then I found the little "Made in China" sticker inside the box.

Peace,
Rick ;)

Don't judge this site just because of ONE person.

Telefunken,

I've been on this site for about 6 months and this is been my FAVORITE site and main hangout (I can't remeber the last time I've been on some of my other message boards ;)). But unfortunatly no matter where you go there's always gonna be the people that get their jollies out of antagonizing others. There's alot of very good info (and people) here, so don't let "ONE person" spoil it all for you.

I hope this mess gets straightened out soon.

Gee, and I thought a lot of the threads were pretty informative and unbiased. You didn't find anything useful here?
