Sigh, I know. It's just I fell for his stupid arguements and so I could come out as badly as he does (and I don't wanna look that much of a prick :):)).

I think I'll defect back to the Newbies forum :p

It just might be better. I wonder what the facts on bandwidth are, because I assume that if you ignore that that instruction has to be processed to filter everything you see and receieve. Either way, bgavin and Mark have the right idea.

Well, I admit that I got sucked into another stupid match... and that's why removed what I could in the thread.

And to help put the thread back on the subject... I used to own all three mics (c1, b1, b3, even c3's) and prefered the c1 over the b mics for vox... however, I agree with c7sus "I'd keep saving a buy something else."... but chessparov's advice is the best " It's really best to try each one out." IMO.

And to reply to ausrock... without being sucked into another stupid match...

And the fact that you claimed to have owned a C1 makes your statement about their cheap plastic mounts in that other thread look all the more imbecilic.

Maybe it was just another cheap plastic snipe at SP.
I use to own one of the first c1's before there were some changes made and I don't remember my old c1 having metal threads on the holder... however, I could be wrong... but, I know the guy I sold it to and will find out if it did or not... but I'll have to track down the person he resold it to first.

For straight vocal, the C1. I find the B3 to be a better all-around mic. YMMV.

I feel so blissful now.

Ignorance is bliss, problem solved in just one click.

I've got a degree to pass here. I'm taking some time out too, where have they moved the damn button too now?

I agree. I recently bought the C-1 Myself. My first LDC. I'm not a mic expert, but it sounds great to me.

I second the C1...its the one vocal mic I have that is honest enough to bring out the best in voices I use it on...It s not the only one I use but it is one I reach for more often than not....I also use an Octava MK319...and a GT1B-fet.
