how do you bypass ambience when you're using it with automation because the plugin doesnt have a bypass when i try to use it with fx automation on acid pro?

I'm assuming you have a plug-in called "Ambience" or something....

Put it on an effects bus and automate the volume.

Put it on an effects bus and automate the send from the track.

Automate the output level of the effect or the wet/dry ratio.

Put only the portions of your tracks that you want to have the effect on a separate track and don't worry about automating it.

That's just a couple ideas I can think of.

yea but i wanna change how the ambience reverb sounds on dif parts of the track and i don't really have the cpu power to have so many dif tracks

Okay then try one of my other suggestions. ;)

Another technique you can try is to "record" automate the track. Instead of following an automation curve, you can manually make your tweaks (Volume,wet/dry, decay, whatever) during playback and the automation function will record exactly what you tweaked. This works good when you are trying to automate something that otherwise would take way to long to set up an automation curve.
