Wow, nice stuff. Mix-wise it's a little... "cold" I guess would be the right word. There's a little too much of the room in there. I'd like to hear the details a little better: the tone of the horn, the sizzle of the cymbols, the growl of the bass. It's a very well-balanced mix, but it just lacks the sparkle that would push it up to that next level.

Is this by any chance a "non-eq'd" mix? I bet a little eq "sweetening" could really bring this to life.
