buzzing when recording

it only started they other day on my vf 160 when i am pluged in to my boss overdrive pedal and near the fostex i'm getting feedback but i wasn't getting before hand any ideas! could because i left the fostex next to my computer screen for a day? i forgot when i set up my computer! damn it

thats a good and tough machine, i doubt leaving by the computer will hurt it, lots of foks leave there recorders hooked up to the computer all the time,

sounds like you have a simple gain problem, try different spots in the room also, where you stand when you record can make a difference in some rooms
