i have a hot rod deluxe and it keeps buzzing on the low notes. I'm pretty sure something is buzzing from within. i tried tightening all the screws i could see and it didn't seem to help much. should i take it apart and put it back together tightening all the screws or should i give it someone else who knows? i have a fear that i'll somehow screw up the mother board circuitry if i take all apart. is it a relatively safe thing to do or should i take it to some who knows?

it's not a signal buzz it's a physical buzz. like something is loose inside the amp but i can't get to it without taking it apart.

yeah i checked the speaker and shook it a little to see if it's loose. it's not. i definatly know it's the amp though. i removed the backing of the amp and put my ear next to it and i think it's the mother board that's loose or maybe something behind the motherboard, but i don't want to mess with it unless i know it safe to take apart and put back together.

how bout the grill cloth frame??? get someone else to play it and you press around on it till you find the issue...

I also have a Hot Rod Deluxe, and mine does this too.

I've replaced the tubes before, that's not the problem I don't think.

Honestly, I kindof like the sound, it's unique.
