Buying Studio Projects C4's

I'm looking to buy a pair of Studio Projects C4's. I just had a question about the mic clips that they come with because I saw some negative feedback about them.

Does anyone know if this problem has been fixed? Do they have new clips now? And if so, do you know where I can buy a pair of C4's with the new clips?

And in general, who is a reliable source that I can buy them from? Is sweetwater or music123 ok?

I bought 4 pair from mac midi music (macmidimusic.com) and they were fine to deal with.
Shocks from there are fine.

Actually, I don't know too much about 8th street service, because, in multiple transactions, they've never screwed up. They answer their phone, the items are usually in stock, they pack the items well, ship immediately, and their prices are excellent.
In general, I've also had good luck with Macmidimusic, but I will no longer do business with them, because they refused to honor an on-line price on their own web site, jacked it up by $500 *after* the order was placed, and refused to negotiate a compromise. That's how to lose a $2500.00 sale, and my business for life.-Richiel
