Hi,

Well, yet again I'm faced with a purchase decision, locally, and need your help. This time it's a TSR-8 and the lesser known YAMAHA MR1642 mixer. The TSR-8 was used only 20 hrs, comes with all accessories, the original box and even the remote control. It was bought approx 1995. It is a one owner unit and is virtually new. The Yamaha MR1642 is a 4 bus, 16 channel mixer with mic XLR's on each channel and is classified as "new in box". It has real VU meters (6), phantom power and other cool stuff. It also has all accessories and was bought at the same time as the TSR-8. Weighs 46lbs I believe.

Anyway, provided all is as it should be, what is the amount you'd pay for such a setup ? Yes, I know what the person is asking for each but I wanted to know what YOU would offer, without knowing about his expectations on the price.

Of course, the amount is in CND $ but if you'd quote in USD then I can just make the adjustment ;)

Looking forward to your replies and thanks once again. :)

About $500-$550 for the reel to reel. Maybe a couple of hundred for the mixer. To be fair, I'm not famaliar with that particular model but from what you describe, it sounds like a Mackie 1604 feature-wise.

I'd agree with those numbers too.

Cheers! :)
