Buying a Used ADAT

Hey There!
Im going to be buying a used ADAT soon. I just want to know what I should look for before I buy one. Like how to find the time on the heads and any other things that could be severely wrong with it. I'm used to using reel to reels so digital equipment is a little off for me. Anyways I appreciate it.
 
Another thing

Make sure that the software has already been updated to 4.0.3
