Building a computer for small needs

I am sure they will work fine. You would still need a soundcard built for music recording, but other than that, I can't see why it would work.

I was thinking of building a new Windows based computer also but instead bought a Powermac Dual 867 Ghz 512 Mb w/60gig HD. I plan on just running the 9.2 OS with probably Logic 6 Pro though that decision isn't final yet.

Question is, without cluttering the machine with any other software beside that for music editing, would it still be advisable to add a 2nd. HD to avoid potential conflicts?
