This is an awesome product. I previously owned the BR-1180CD and it is a major upgrade. The effects are way better and the quality even sounds better. THE BEST THING IS... USB! Man that is great,it saves a lot on CD'S and you can just dump it on the pc and upload to your site or tweak it in another program like a cool edit. I'm loving this machine.

I'm very happy with mine too....

....I could not have made a better choice...

Matt - I was getting the feeling that you weren't happy. What changed your mine?

It makes it even better If you get WAVMAKER....i love using my br 1600..its a very reliable product

Hey 72fender !

I just wasn't sure at first.... I thought maybe the Yamaha was a better choice.

I was VERY impressed with all the effort they put into the version 2 upgrade. The ability to export all tracks to USB at once was important to me, and after they implelmented that, all my requirements were met.

Also, I can just mess around with this thing for 1/2 hour with the drums and effects, and I end up accidentally writing some cool songs !!

So easy to use... I just love it. To me, it was worth the $2000 CDN (taxes included).

Matt - Cool, was just wondering. I haven't use the USB transfer, so it didn't matter to me. I have found that the 'metering' levels aren't very accurate. You need to record with your ears and get the hottest levels without clipping.

I agree with that !

Don't like the auto-calibration either....

I Don't like the auto cal either. I love this machine as well . I play in an oldies band twice a month and also write and record on the BR 1600. This thing kicks ass and so far hasn't let me down like the computer did for recording. I've recorded for 30 years on my TEAC 2340 and 3440 reel to reels and this BR is a hands on kind of thing and easy to use. CAN SOMEBODY TELL ME WHAT I HAVE TO DO TO POST MP3 FILES TO THE WEB? HOW DID YOU GUYS PUT YOUR STUFF ON HERE FOR PEOPLE TO LISTEN TO,THAT'S WHAT I WANT TO DO .CAN SOME ONE HELP?

Thanks mate

Thanks mate,

After updating to v2.0 I'm now able to move all tracks to the USB-folder in one go. A great feature, although it's a slow process to have to wait for 16 tracks + their v-tracks even if you've only recorded on four tracks :)

But it's a great improvement.

Cheers
Claus
