Boss RC-20 Loop Station difficulties

My rc-20 loop station is all messed up. Using a 9v dc power supply, I plug in my loopstation and the power light comes on however none of the other buttons will light up or work whatsoever. I get sound through my amp but that is all. How can I fix it?
 
Double post? And yep I tried batteries but same problem :(
 
Yeah my double post - sorry... Had a look at the manual - couldnt help the only thought I had was try using the switch with te battery lid up? Sometimes especially with Boss stuff the switch fouls. Apart from that I got nothing...
 
Thanks for the help, I may be little dumb here but where is the switch again :$?
