Boss Me-50...

Hey, I recently purchased the Me-50 Multi-effects after selling my DD-6 and DS-1.

Most bands I have seen live don't seem to favor multi-effects and seem to prefer their own pedal board rigs. Is there any reason for this?

Do you think it was a bad decision to rid of my individual pedals for the multi-effects? should i have been building up to creating my own pedal board?

Whatever kind of cup you like to drink from...I think the ME-50 is a great pedal. Some guys just already have the other gear, some guys just like to mix certain brands of pedals to achieve whatever suits their ears.

One thing you should consider with pedals is how they sound at low volumes and how they sounds at high volumes can affect the overall tone sometimes...That's one thing to take into consideration!

did the same thing, not a problem, it's a great pedal. sometimes the real thing in a custom pedal board is more configurable, sometimes it's nice to know that if one pedal dies the rest keep going, sometimes the real thing has more bite and energy than the me-50. still I wouldn't worry yourself.
